Jack Conte wasn’t some ravenous artist eking out a dwelling when he landed on the concept for Patreon. He and his spouse’s indie band referred to as Pomplamoose was pulling in about $400K a 12 months at its top. However after spending three months and maxing out his bank cards producing an intricate music video for the track Pedals, Jack discovered himself burned out, sitting alone, actually crying from exhaustion. He felt there needed to be a greater method for creators to receives a commission for his or her work.
