Defense Secretary summons Anthropic’s Amodei over military use of Claude

Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth has summoned Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei to the Pentagon for a tense dialogue over the army’s use of Claude. Hegseth has threatened to designate Anthropic a “provide chain threat.”
